Johnson County Recreation District (JCRD)

Board Members Present:

The meeting of the Johnson County Recreation Board (JCRD) was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Jack Tarter in Buffal0, WY January 13, 2026 at Johnson County School District #1 board room.

All Members were present.

It was moved by Mike and seconded by Marcia to approve the agenda. It was moved by Dustin and seconded by TJ to approve the minutes of the November minutes.

Jack presented the financial report. It was moved by Lisa and seconded by Mike to approve the financials as presented.

Jay Camino was present in the audience.

Under old business, Jay explained that the funds for bowling for previous grant cycle had not been used because they ran out of time. He requested permission to carry over the balance of the previous grant cycle which he plans to use this year. He will also use the funds for the current grant cycle this year.

Under new business, it was moved by Lisa and seconded by Marcia to set the following Meeting dates:

January 10, 2026 February 10, 2026
March No Meeting April 14, 2026
May 18, 2026 Kaycee May 19, 2026
May 20, 2026 June 9, 2026
July no meeting August 11, 2026
September 8, 2026 Kaycee October 13, 2026
November 10, 2026 December no meeting

The cutoff for grant applications is April 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

The following slate officers was unanimously elected for 2026:

Jack Tarter – President Mike Miller – Vice President
Lisa Griffith- Secretary TJ Tavegie - Treasurer

It was moved by Lisa and seconded by Marcia to approve the following claims:

Buffalo Community Rink $3,300.00

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
